Nina's Story

Meet Nina: The Sweetest Girl Looking for a Forever Home!

3 year old, 60lbs Nina was found as a stray and brought to the shelter in July. She was immediately described by volunteers as friendly, chill, and very affectionate. In play groups with other dogs she is gentle and tolerant, preferring to hang out with humans more than engage in play with other dogs. Our team at Dog Coalition was able to place her in a foster home in August thanks to a dedicated foster.

In her foster home, Nina is learning the skills and manners to be a wonderful forever companion. She is house trained and working on important crate and leash training skills. This affectionate girl is mellow, easy-going, and gaining the confidence and security that she deserves.

We believe that Nina would be great as a solo dog or with a canine companion in her forever home. She is looking for a loving forever family dedicated to continuing her training and offering her stability and care.

What You Should Know About Nina:

- Beautiful brindle coat, 3yrs old, 60lbs, incredibly sweet

- Friendly and relaxed with both dogs and people

- Would thrive with a semi-active lifestyle. Nina could be a great occasional hiking or activity companion.

To meet Nina, please fill out an adoption form on dogcoalitionla.org/adopt and follow @dogcoaltionla for updates!
