NINA's Story

*Please contact the foster at, savvy9@gmail.com* Nina is a sweet and spirited senior girl who found herself at the shelter after her owner was hospitalized. Despite the big change, she’s full of joy and ready to share her love with a new family. Nina adores toys and can’t resist a good game of tug-of-war. In the play yard, she shows off the cutest happy hops that are guaranteed to make you smile. On walks, she’s a delight—she walks well on a harness, enjoys trail adventures, and loves taking her time to sniff and explore the world around her. She’s gentle taking treats and truly enjoys close companionship, once she gets to know you, leaning in for head scratches and affection. If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion with a soft heart and a joyful spirit, Nina may be your perfect match. - walks nicely with harness - very loving and wants to please - was very affectionate toward a young male puppy through the play yard fence Nina makes adorable grumbles and snorts that speak 1000 words. She is actually an excellent communicator, if that matters to you. She will tap the door when she wants to go out. Unless it is raining, she always wants to go out. She is a Hydrated Queen and a social butterfly. Be prepared to make a lot of new friends. When Nina isn't out sniffing the town, she likes to chew on her ball, share my snacks, lounge on the balcony and watch the rain or neighbors walking by. She doesn't care if you like action or drama, she is happy to snuggle up and fall asleep watching a movie. Nina will always choose the most comfortable seat, but she isn't always such a delicate lady. When Nina wants to go somewhere she will be stubborn about it, sometimes stopping in peaceful protest. She associates UPS with treats and you will be embarrassed when she sits indignantly at their truck like a child waiting for ice cream. If you want to meet someone... anyone... everyone, Nina is your wing-woman.
