Nina's Story

Meet Nina a, 25 pound, 2 year old spayed female beagle Aussie mix. She has a beautiful tri color coat and light hazel eyes. Nina is a smart sweet girl who loves to go for walks and hiking, but prefers to keep her feet dry. She loves to sit on her person's lap, or next to them while getting a tummy rub or giving kisses. At night she likes to curl up next to you and sleep all night.

I have a foster brother & sister and we have no sibling rivalries. My foster sister is bigger than me and plays a bit rougher than I like.

When I go outside I like to explore and sniff out all the other creatures and people who have been in my yard. I'm well behaved on a leash and on hikes & in the yard sometimes my foster dad let's me run around off leash, but I don't let them get far from me! I love to sit with you in your favorite chair and at night curl up next to you. I'm a good girl when my foster dad goes to work so he doesn't need to put me in my crate...but sometimes I go there for a rest.

My start wasn't exactly great so I would prefer a forever home with a calm, patient atmosphere without little kids or dogs larger than me. Loud noises and dropped objects may startle me, but I'm trusting and working on this. A fenced yard is highly recommended.
