NINA's Story

Meet NINA!

***Nina is being fostered in Annapolis, MD now and is ready for a meet and greet with any potential adopter!***

She is ~10.5 lbs and estimated to be 13-14 weeks old as of April 26, 2026. In person, she is much smaller than how she looks in the photos! We think she’s a Lab/terrier mixed with, perhaps, Chihuahua. And yes - that's actually possible! Her estimated full-grown weight will be around 25-30ish pounds (best guess). She's the largest of the litter.

First and foremost, let's talk about those EARS! No, the wind is not blowing in any of these photos. Nina's ears have a mind of their own and seem to go up, to the side, forward - you name it! Her ears look like she's directing traffic or perhaps doing some crazy 80s dance move. She is a very uniquely expressive little pup!

Nina just loves kids! Currently, she is being fostered in a home with a 5 year old girl! She loves the hustle and bustle. As you can tell from the video, she enjoys a good romp around the yard and really enjoys playing.

She's also with her siblings now as well as 5 other adult dogs and gets along great with all of them.

We know she’d be good with cats as well given her age. It's a great time to do introductions!

She is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations.

Please feel free to email us with any questions about her! The best fit for the dog is our priority.

Please make sure you are ready to properly exercise and give a dog all it needs for fulfillment. Your ongoing time and day-to-day commitment are the most important things in caring for a dog.

In addition, we cannot guarantee breed of any dog, exact age or expected adult size of a puppy. Please note that even house-trained dogs will need help transitioning to an adopter's home and schedule. Thank you for understanding.
