Nina's Story

At just 1.5 years old, this girl has already proven she’s tougher than most and sweeter than anyone.

After being left loose near a busy road by her previous owners, she was hit by a car and had to have a leg amputated. But if you think that slows her down… you haven’t met her yet. She has recovered beautifully and gets around like a total pro—tail wagging, heart wide open, and ready to love her people with everything she’s got.

And let’s talk about that personality… because WOW.
She is SO. SWEET. Like, melt-into-you, gentle-soul kind of sweet. She’s the kind of dog who just wants to be close, soak up affection, and give it right back tenfold.

✔️ Crate trained
✔️ Potty trained
✔️ Quiet (not a big barker!)
✔️ Total lovebug

She’s past the chaotic puppy phase but still young enough to bring playful, happy vibes into your home. Pitt Friends's Adoption Policy
Thank you for considering adopting from Pitt Friends! The first step in our adoption process is filling out our application, which you can find at pittfriends.com. If your application is approved, the foster family will reach out to you directly to arrange a meet and greet at a mutually agreeable time and place. We do not have a shelter facility. All of our animals live in foster care full time, in the homes of our volunteers. Our adoption fee is $200 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, deworming, and any other medical care that is required prior to adoption. A home check and vet reference are required prior to adoption. Each dog has different needs, so if one particular dog is not the right fit for your home, we may be able to recommend another that is a better match!
