Nina's Story

Meet Nina 💕🐾

Nina is a sweet young dog who is still hoping that the third time will be the charm. She came to the Stafford County Animal Shelter as an owner surrender for reasons unknown. What is known is that Nina’s original owner passed away about a year ago. Family members cared for her for the past year, and now, at just 2 years old, Nina finds herself back at the shelter, waiting for a forever home, once again. She can be a bit reserved and shy when first meeting you, but once you win her over (especially with treats) she is as eager to please as they come and is such a lovebug.

Nina is a beautiful white and brown mixed breed, weighing about 50 pounds. She has been described as housebroken and good with both dogs and cats. If there are other canine family members in the home, a meet and greet is recommended to ensure a good fit.

Nina is not spayed, so geographical adoption restrictions apply. Her adopter will be required to sign a spay and neuter agreement. There is no known vaccination history, and her behavior with children is unknown.

Nina is hoping to find a loving home where she can finally settle in for good. She is a gentle, affectionate young dog who is ready to give her heart to a family who will give her the stability she deserves ❤️
