Nina's Story

Nina was one of 52 neglected dogs discovered in a hoarding situation in California. This tiny (8 pounds) girl was living in unimaginable filth and neglect outside a trailer home in grounds covered in garbage.
Nina is approximately 2 years old. She is sweet-natured and enormously affectionate and loves nothing better than cuddling with her human on a couch or bed. Her second favourite activity is going for a walk with her human. Nina has been using a dog door in her foster home and she walks nicely on leash and enjoys riding in the car.
We would like to see this precious little girl join a family with a securely fenced green space that likes to walk and another easygoing dog companion is fine - Nina gets along with everyone. She is a tiny bit timid with new people but warms up quickly - especially with women. Noisy small children are not a good idea - older dog smart quiet kids would be fine. Cats would probably be fine also.
Nina is in foster care in Eugene, Oregon. Her adoption fee is $200.

Jack Russell Rescue Oregon Washington & Idaho's Adoption Policy
We require an approved application before setting up a meet with any of our dogs. In most cases, secure fencing is a must - exceptions may be made for certain "Velcro" dogs and isolated rural properties, or for urban adopters who run daily. Except for certain dogs, no kids under the age of 6 is our rule of thumb, but it depends again on the dog and on the kids. We have a 2 to 3 week trial adoption period for all our dogs - we want everyone to be happy - and we back our dogs up for their lifetimes. Thank you for thinking of a rescue Jack!
