Niles is 6 years old and about 18 pounds. The household he knew his entire life had a major change to which he was not adjusting very well and he was surrendered so a better situation could be found for him. He would do best in a home where there are not many visitors coming over and no small children. He will need someone with patience and understanding about the unfortunate situation he came from, someone who will show him he is safe and can trust people again. He would do best as the only dog as he does exhibit some resource guarding, with food and toys. Someone with an affinity for and experience with Shih Tzus is preferred.
