He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give him some time and gentle encouragement, and you'll discover what a truly wonderful companion he is. Once Niko knows and trusts you, he is incredibly sweet, loyal, and affectionate.<br/><br/>If there's one thing Niko absolutely loves, it's other dogs! He is a true dog's dog and thrives when he has canine friends to play with. Because of how much he enjoys the company of other dogs, Niko would do best in a home with another playful dog to help him continue gaining confidence and burn off his puppy energy.<br/><br/>Niko is crate trained and is making progress with his potty training. He's also working on his leash skills and learning all the important puppy basics. He rides well in the car, making him a great companion for future adventures.<br/><br/>As a Shepherd mix, Niko is expected to grow into a large dog. He will need a family committed to continuing his training and helping him become the best version of himself.
