Niko's Story

Introducing Niko! This happy boy was surrendered to us due to the previous owner no longer having the time to care for him. Niko enjoys playing with other dogs, splashing in the pool, and playing with his toys. He loves cuddle time and will sprawl out for belly rubs and ear scratches. Niko does well with cats but does chase them from time to time hoping they will play with him. He needs some work on the leash and needs to be reminded that he is 85lbs and it is not OK to jump up on people. He has not had much exposure to young children, interactions should be closely supervised to ensure Niko is polite and well behaved. He's a big puppy that thinks everyone is his best friend - even if they don't think so! If you're interested in meeting this handsome boy please give the shelter a call at 218-675-7297.
