Whether it's an outdoor adventure or a lazy afternoon on the couch, he's happiest when he's with his family.<br/><br/>What Nikko Is Working On<br/><br/>Nikko is a smart, eager-to-learn adolescent who is already doing well with both house training and crate training.<br/><br/>Like many social dogs, he's currently working on:<br/><br/>Polite greetings<br/>Keeping all four paws on the floor when excited<br/>Leash manners<br/>Ignoring distractions while walking<br/>Not greeting every person and dog he sees<br/><br/>Because Nikko loves people so much, he sometimes gets overly excited when meeting new friends.<br/><br/>He can also be vocal at times and has a strong prey drive, so continued training and management will help him be successful.<br/><br/>One important thing to know is that Nikko can be a flight risk if startled or if given an opportunity to slip free.
