Nikki's Story

This gentle little soul may be small in size, but her quiet resilience speaks volumes. She came to us needing a little extra care, and while we’re still working to figure out the cause of her skin issues (ringworm and mange have both been ruled out), she has handled everything with remarkable patience. Calm and timid by nature, she takes the world in softly. New experiences can feel overwhelming at first, but she shows incredible trust with the people caring for her. She allows our team and veterinarians to examine, treat, and “poke and prod” as needed — never making a fuss, just quietly accepting the help she deserves. It’s hard not to admire her sweet, cooperative spirit. Right now, she’s on a journey toward feeling her very best. What she needs most is a loving home that will continue that care, offer reassurance, and let her move at her own gentle pace. With stability and kindness, we believe she will continue to grow in confidence and comfort. If you have a soft spot for the shy, tender-hearted ones — and you believe that healing happens best with love — she may be the perfect little companion for you.
