NIKKI's Story
Nikki is an incredibly sweet, sensitive girl who truly blossoms once she starts to feel comfortable. As trust builds, her playful side comes out—and she enjoys cuddling too (in her own way). She forms strong bonds and loves being close to her people.

Despite being 10 years old, Nikki is very high energy and would thrive with an active, experienced family. She needs plenty of daily exercise—think jogging or 2+ mile walks at least three times a day—and she’s still ready for more afterward! A securely fenced yard would be ideal, with special attention to the base and gates, as Nikki is curious and athletic.

Inside the home, Nikki wants to be part of everything. She seeks attention (and will politely paw or “talk” to you—husky-style—to let you know!) and does not enjoy being left alone. She tends to follow her people from room to room and is always on the move. When settling, she prefers cozy, tucked-away spots like behind a couch or under a desk, where she feels safe and secure.

Nikki is gentle and thoughtful—she takes treats very delicately and, after a little encouragement at first, has begun eating meals well. She responds to her name indoors and generally ignores other dogs, making her more focused on people than on canine distractions.

Nikki is looking for a home that understands her energy, her need for companionship, and her desire to stay engaged with the world around her. In return, she offers affection, loyalty, and a lively presence that will keep you smiling and moving.

If you’re searching for an active, devoted companion and have the time and space to meet her needs, Nikki could be an amazing match.
