Meet Niki a young female akita that has come into rescue after her owner left her at a NYC shelter . Reason was she was no longer wanted. Niki has been a very good girl here with us. We provide structure and routine to all of the orphans and Niki thrives on it. This akita would do best with a active owner, or a owner with a large fenced in yard as she is young and has lots of energy to burn. <br/>Niki in the past has lived in a home with children ages 12 and up. She also lived with another dog however we feel she should be placed in a home where she can have all the love and attention to herself.
