Niki's Story

Niki is a dog who has the amazing looks and personality to go with it! Niki is the whole package. She loves to go on new adventures: hiking, drive through for a pup cup, you name it and she's all for it! Niki walks well on a leash, knows basic obedience and is house trained and crate trained. She absolutely loves squeaky toys, to the point that she will sometimes collect all the ones in her foster house and hoard them in her crate! Niki does great with dogs for playtime in the yard or on walks. She does like to have her own personal space in the house though. If you're looking for a new best friend to take on walks, hikes, jogs or bike rides, and then come home and curl up in a blanket to watch TV or read, Niki is your girl! HOW OUR ADOPTIONS WORK: 1) We require all adopters to fill out an online application at: https://www.arcticrescue.com/adopt 2) We are a Utah-based rescue. All potential adopters must come to Utah and meet the dogs. We do not transport dogs. 3) We want to make sure that your home is the perfect fit for one of our dogs and vice versa. We want all members of the family to be happy and well matched with each-other, so require families to do a phone interview, reference checks, meet dogs and pass a home-inspection before adoption.
