This sweet, gentle guy is the definition of an easygoing companion. He loves affection and happily soaks up pets, hugs, kind words, and quiet time with his favorite people. Niki is incredibly gentle when taking treats and has wonderful manners around the house-he doesn't even need a kennel! While he may be a little shy when meeting new people, he warms up quickly and forms loyal, loving bonds. Daily walks are the highlight of his day, especially when he gets to stop and sniff all the interesting smells along the way. He's currently enjoying a couple of leisurely walks each day as he works on getting into tip-top shape. Niki would thrive with someone looking for a calm, devoted companion to share cozy evenings, neighborhood strolls, and plenty of love.<br/><br/>From the vet: At one of Niki's recent veterinary visits, a mass on his prepuce was noted. A sample was collected and it was determined that the mass was a low grade mast cell tumor. Complete lab work and chest radiographs have been completed to ensure there is no metastasis or spread of this mass, and all results came back clear. Surgery has been performed to remove this mass and we were able to completely excise the mass with clean margins. Surgery for this mass is curative, however as Niki ages he should be monitored for any formation of new masses. At this time, Niki is medically cleared and is a happy, healthy boy ready to live his golden years with his forever family.
