Mix, female, 12 years, 68 lbs.<br/><br/>Meet Nika…an elegant and “seasoned” chocolate lab mix. This senior pup has learned to embrace all the simple joys we take for granted. She makes time for the warmth of the sun on her face, watching the squirrels, a relaxing walk or stroll in the yard, sniffing all the sniffs (her nose works overtime!), and most of all, she excels at snacks and naps!<br/><br/>Nika loves a good car ride, she does well on a leash, and seems to be housebroken. She has a silly personality and when she’s excited, she does a little happy dance. She currently lives with 2 other pups, but she is a bit too interested in cats, so she may do best without them.<br/><br/>Nika first came to Peppertree from a shelter in New York City when she was a young pup. She was a favorite with her foster family, and eventually found her home. Nika was greatly loved by her person until he passed away.
