Hi! My name is Nika. I am a 12 year old female Shih Tzu. I was recently surrendered to a shelter by no fault of my own. The shelter helped to get me healthy with a dental and a mastectomy. I am having one of my eyes removed soon, but that won't slow me down! I would like to have a playmate and a fenced yard. I am deaf and it helps me having a buddy around and the fence will keep me safe. My foster Mom says I am adorable and such a sweet pup. I would have to agree with her, I am great! I am having so much fun with my foster siblings. Young kids probably aren't a good fit for me, since I am easily startled being deaf.<br/>If you are looking for another member of your family, please fill out an application for ME! But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.
