Niihau is not the type to rush up for attention, but once she feels safe, she becomes deeply loyal and devoted to her people.<br/><br/>She does wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and livestock, but is not safe with chickens or small critters. She’s respectful with children who understand boundaries and patience. Niihau is crate trained, still working on potty training and leash skills, and does best in a secure home since she may try to flee if frightened.
