Poor Nico found himself at the shelter, 13 years old and in much need of some TLC. Being a senior, underweight and in serious need of a dental he was on the short list. Luckily for him, he pulled on the heartstrings of a great foster family.<br/><br/>After lots of amazing care thanks to both the rescue and his foster, he is looking and feeling much better! Poor boy had to have quite a few teeth pulled but now that he is all healed up and got some serious VIP treatment at the vet, he is doing great! He is eating well now that his mouth isnt hurting him so we expect him to continue to gain a little weight which he still needs to do.<br/><br/>Nico has the biggest heart, a gentle spirit, and a love for treats. His favorite things are leisurely walks, tasty snacks, and being close to his people...he'll happily follow you around the house all day. He gets around pretty well but prefers short walks. He would do best in a home without a lot of stairs but being only 12 pounds, would be easy to pick up to go up and down them. He loves people but would prefer a home without a lot of comings and goings, no small kids and no cats.<br/><br/>Nico deserves a loving home where he can enjoy his golden years as a low key but loyal companion.
