Nickie is a 7-year-old Pomeranian mix weighing about 12 pounds who had spent most of her life confined to a cage. When she was finally given freedom, it took several days for her to feel safe enough to step out on her own—a quiet testament to what she endured.<br/> Despite her past, she is a loving, calm and gentle girl who is learning that the world is a good place! She would be a great companion to a person or family who wants a snuggler and sweet little friend.<br/>She does well with other dogs and finds comfort in having them around!
