Nick's Story
Nick was brought to us by a good samaritan who found him dumped at a work site. He's been learning to trust people, but if you've met a dumped dog, you know the vibe.

Being roughly a year and a half old, Nick is still learning how to interact with humans. He tries to herd people in the house sometimes, and we think the somewhat mouthy nature of breeds like border collies means small children might not be ideal for him. He LOVES to play with other dogs in the rescue, especially the other young dogs like Nova and the Potato Pups. He wrassles with Happy too, and understands he must be gentle with her.

Raised dog beds are some of his favorite places to nap, and Nick understand the doggy door (and not pee inside, thankfully!!). While chickens likely aren't a good idea for him, and cats are a no, we think a farm with large hoofstock would be perfect for him. He does patrol the rescue yard, let us know when strangers come to close, and will walk alongside you like he's working.

If an adopter wanted to train him for sports, we do think Nick would absolutely excel! He loves his treat rewards too
