Likely a Rhodesian/Redbone Coonhound mix, Nicholas is full of energy and has the heart of a puppy. He loves to play, be silly, and show off his affectionate, wiggly personality. He would do best with an active family who enjoys getting outside and keeping him engaged, and he would also do great with another high-energy dog who enjoys playtime as much as he does. Because he’s so goofy and doesn’t always know his size, Nicholas is best suited for a home without small children. Tattered Paws and Golden Hearts Rescue's Adoption Policy

Once we receive a completed application we schedule a Q&A call with the applicant to answer any questions they might have about adopting from us. Then an adoption coordinator is assigned to the applicant and they work with them to decide what dog would be the best fit for their home and lifestyle. Prior to being approved for adoption we complete a vet check and home visit and then finally schedule a meet & greet so they can meet the dog.
