Nicholas & Amelia Jean <br/><br/>Meet Nicholas and Amelia Jean - a bonded pair of Boston Terriers looking for a forever home together!<br/><br/>These two are a package deal, and for good reason. Nicholas and Amelia Jean truly feed off of each other and are happiest when they're together. They have been through a lot, and we believe they deserve to continue life side-by-side.<br/><br/> Nicholas is a handsome red Boston Terrier and a big, robust boy. He's confident, playful, loving, and always ready for some attention.<br/><br/> Amelia Jean is the smaller of the two and a sweet little black-and-white girl. She's a little more nervous and could stand to lose a few pounds, but she is an absolute sweetheart who loves her people and her Nicholas.<br/><br/>Both dogs:<br/> Are altered<br/> Are current on vaccines<br/> Are currently undergoing heartworm treatment after arriving in rescue heartworm positive<br/> Are kennel trained<br/> Walk well on a leash<br/> Travel wonderfully in the car<br/> Love toys and treats<br/> Enjoy long walks (once they are cleared from heartworm treatment!)<br/> Love children<br/> Love to snuggle and sleep in bed with their people<br/> Get along well with other dogs<br/><br/>They have happily played with Boston Terriers, Boxers, and many foster dogs in their foster home. One important note: Nicholas is not a fan of unaltered male dogs. Introductions to other male dogs should be done slowly and thoughtfully, giving everyone plenty of time to get acquainted.<br/><br/>We suspect these two spent much of their lives in a kennel environment, because when they come inside from potty breaks, they head straight back to their kennel like, "Okay, folks, we're done here!" They are both very comfortable in their kennels and have absolutely no problem settling in when their foster mom leaves.<br/><br/>Amelia Jean may need a little extra patience with potty training. She does go outside, but we think some of her accidents may be related to being nervous in a busy household with lots of dogs.<br/><br/>These two came into rescue from what we believe was a breeder situation in North Mississippi. Whatever their past looked like, we're focused on giving them the future they deserve - together. <br/><br/>They are currently taking it easy while completing heartworm treatment, but once they are medically cleared, these two will be ready to hit the road, take those long walks, chase some toys, and find a family who will let them snuggle in bed every night.<br/><br/>Nicholas and Amelia Jean aren't looking for two separate homes.
