Nia's Story

Say hello to sweet little Nia!

Nia is about 5 months old, weighs 22 pounds and is as sweet as can be. She is house trained, crate trained and working on her leash skills! Nia is great with adults and kids. As she gains confidence, she will become even more comfortable in new situations.

Nia is a sweet, calm, docile pup. She is shy around new people, but she opens up fairly quickly. She thrives in the company of other dogs; they help her confidence and bring out her playful side. Nia befriends new dogs very quickly. She has not been around cats

Nia is calm in the car and usually just takes a nap. Even though she is shy at first, she is a really affectionate and loving dog. Nia enjoys her crate at night, and she really loves blankets and pillows all the time. She seems to prefer women over men, but she does like men who are calm.

Nia does not like the sound of loud cars or motorcycles (who does?) and feels safest in a calm environment. While she may grow out of her shyness, it will be best to have a calm and peaceful environment in her new home. She is looking for a family who will be gentle and kind with her. In return, Nia will be your most loyal companion!

Nia will be available for adoption on, or after, TBD

If you are interested in Nia and are an approved adopter, please contact your Adoption Coordinator to be added to Nia’s list.
