NIA's Story
Since pretty Nia came to us as a stray, we don’t know much about her past, but we do think based on what we’ve seen at the shelter and on Dog Day Outs, her future should be very bright! Quiet, calm and snuggly, she’s good on a leash and while she can be a bit reserved at first, warms up quickly. She appears to have been potty trained, but we always advise that any dog living at the shelter for a while may need a quick refresher course once in a home. Nia seems to enjoy the company of humans large and small and has had some positive interactions with kids while on Dog Day Out trips and overnight stays. This sweet girl is tiring of shelter life and could sure use a home of her own soon—maybe yours?
