He adores people, gets along great with other dogs, and even enjoys making feline friends. His favorite things include stuffing his toy collection to the brim, going for car rides, curling up on the couch with his people, and finding any excuse to play.<br/>Newton's story started with more challenges than any dog should face. After being left to survive on his own, he grew up with a broken leg that healed on its own. But don't tell Newton he's any different--he certainly doesn't think so! His leg doesn't slow him down one bit. He happily zooms around, gives the best hugs, hops onto the couch for snuggles, and can even clear a fence. Because of his athleticism, he'll need a securely fenced yard with at least a 6-foot fence.<br/>He's already crate trained and potty trained, and he's working hard on his leash manners. Like many young dogs, he can get excited when he spots something interesting on walks, but he's eager to learn and thrives with positive guidance.<br/>Newton is the total package: sweet, resilient, playful, and full of love.
