Nevelle's Story

Snow buddy - probably not but the hat sure does look cute.<br/>Nevelle doesn’t have enough fur on her tushy to be an outdoorsy girl. She does look better than when she arrived though. Nevelle just wants to wag her tail and eat treats till her belly has a little pudge. She is happy even in the shelter. Nevelle will be joyful in a home that takes care of her.<br/><br/>Chicago Animal Care and Control is located at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL, and is open from 12pm to 7pm daily. Walk-in visitors are welcome and helped on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are planning to adopt the day you visit, please plan to arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm will still be able to view animals in Pavilions A-B-C until 7pm.<br/><br/>All dogs will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated before adoption.<br/><br/>All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers).<br/><br/>We recommend and can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets for your current dog(s) to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s).
