Nevada's Story

Nevada (aka Neva)

When Nevada first came to us, she was absolutely terrified of the world around her. New people, new environments even going outside felt overwhelming. She found comfort in her crate right away, making it her safe space. Simple things like going outside required patience, encouragement, and even being carried, as she would quickly retreat back to where she felt secure.

With time, consistency, and a lot of love (and plenty of hand fed meals), Neva slowly began to trust.

Now at around 9 months old, Nevada has blossomed into a happy, playful, and loving young pup. She's truly a different dog. She loves playing with other dogs and does especially well with her current canine companion. She enjoys chewing on bones to stay busy and, like most puppies, can still get a little mischievous at times.

Neva is very treat motivated, knows basic commands, and still finds comfort in her crate. While we're unsure how she does with cats, we do know she has the sweetest, most gentle soul. She just needs a little time and patience to warm up to new people but once she does, she will absolutely melt your heart.

Nevada (Neva) is looking for a patient, loving home that will give her the time she needs to continue building confidence and thriving.

Note: Neva will need a confident fur sibling to continue to show her the ropes.
