Neutron Star's Story

Meet Neutron Star. And yes, the name fits perfectly.

This little guy is exactly what his name suggests — small, powerful, and radiating pure energy and joy in every direction. He arrived full of enthusiasm for life and has not slowed down since. He has, however, gotten taller.

Neutron Star is around 30 pounds now, growing up fast, and somehow still has not been scooped up. His foster cannot believe it either. Honestly, neither can we.

Here is what you need to know.

He knows sit, paw, touch, lie down, and is working on recall. He is almost fully house trained and his foster will tell you that the occasional accident is mostly human error at this point. He sleeps through the night in his crate without a single peep and takes naps in there too. He loves his crate. It is his.

He is good with dogs and plays beautifully with his foster pup. They genuinely love each other. He is good with cats and has come to a solid understanding with the ones in his foster home and is easily redirected by them when needed. Good with kids. Sweet with strangers. Quiet in the home, except for a truly hilarious disgruntled grumble he makes when something does not go his way. We love him for it.

Ready to play at the drop of a hat. Equally ready to climb onto your lap, your back, or apparently your shoulders if given the opportunity. No surface is off limits when snuggling is involved. Sweet. Smart. Goofy. Eager to learn. Playful. He basically wrote the definition of dream puppy and then showed up to prove it. Just lost his last puppy tooth. Still available. Still waiting.

To apply, visit: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TGD/Dog
