You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Netta arrived from the city pound on 7/27/2026 when her legal stray hold was finished. She appears to be a pit bull type mix, possibly with boxer or maybe even pointer, and she's approximately 3 years old. Netta is strong, stocky and is enthusiastic in her affection. She has been vet checked, spayed, and microchipped, and her fee is $150.

Netta does seem to have had a little basic training but will need some work on leash walking. She is very loving and will need some regular exercise. She's also content to chill with someone on the couch. Netta does really well with male dogs. She has a pretty easygoing energy. She should be fine with kids. We don't know about cats. She would be a lovely companion!

NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport.
