They are pretty slow to warm up to new people, and will need a patient and loving home. Nessie is not the greatest with strangers - she would prefer a quieter home environment. Charlie depends on Nessie for warming up to people - he follows her lead. They look for one another when the other is not around. They get along well with other cats, and dogs. Nessie can be a little possessive with other dogs that aren't Charlie. No other dogs is preferred, but not an absolute requirement. Ask us about them today! We require an application process for anyone wanting to adopt on of our pets. We check to make sure all of your current/past pets were up-to-date on their vaccines and if they're canines, they're on monthly heartworm preventative. We realize that some may think this is too strict - however, we have seen the tragedies that not doing these things can cause and therefore want the very best for our animals. We treat our adoption process like children's adoption. Because these pets were someone's once, and they would want them to be well cared for in a loving home, and that is what we strive to do.
