Nero Dachshund Norwalk, CT

This sweet little dachshund mix is approx 1 yr and 4 months and weighs 14 lbs,, he was owner surrender to our rescue with his buddy Comet who is a schnauzer mix. They love to run and play and it would be great if they could be adopted together but can be adopted on their own. He is very sweet, gets along with all of the other rescues, walks pretty well on a leash but does pull a little he likes to get going, he loves riding in the car and will hop right up to go on a ride, he seems to be pretty well house trained and is a very sweet, friendly little boy

OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with no children under the age of 8, and experienced dog owners only.

WE REQUIRE VET RECORDS ON YOUR CURRENT OR PAST DOG FOR OUR REVIEW. RECORDS MUST SHOW THE POTENTIAL ADOPTER AS THE OWNER

The total adoption fee of between $550 (CT, NY, PA) and $675 depending on the quarantine laws of the adopter or foster's state (primarily Massachusetts) and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper and canine influenza, and microchip. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. We also provide a coupon for a free wellness visit to the South Wilton Vet group if convenient for you.
