Meet Nero, one of our Obsidian Krew boys, who's still discovering just how wonderful life can be. <br/><br/>Nero has a heart full of love, a curious little mind, and a personality that's equal parts sweet, smart, and stubborn. He's happiest exploring the yard, enjoying a good chew bone, or simply hanging out near his favorite human. He doesn't need to be entertained every second. Sometimes just knowing his person is there is everything.<br/><br/>And when it comes to treats? Oh, this boy is a professional! Marrow bones, rubber toys stuffed with goodies, treat-dispensing puzzles... Nero is always up for a little snack-powered brain game!<br/><br/>But there's another side to Nero that deserves just as much love. <br/><br/>He's still working through anxiety and learning to feel confident in the world around him. The constant activity at the Haven can make settling difficult, but in calmer spaces, he does much better. I truly believe a home where he can find his rhythm, build trust, and enjoy some peace could make a beautiful difference for him.<br/><br/>A confident older furry sibling would be amazing, too. Someone to help show him that new experiences can be fun and that there's a whole world of adventures waiting beyond what he already knows. <br/><br/>Nero isn't going to magically have everything figured out the day he goes home. He'll need patience, understanding, consistency, and someone willing to grow alongside him.<br/><br/>But what he already has to give? A whole lot of love, loyalty, goofy little moments, and the potential for one incredible bond. <br/><br/>Somewhere out there is someone who isn't searching for the loudest, wildest, most outgoing dog. They're looking for their little sidekick.
