He has done well with dogs at the shelter and wants to be friends with the cats but doesn't quite understand he can't chase them. Nerm is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, neuter and microchipped. To set up a meet and greet please email shelter@stanlycountync.gov.

Stanly County Animal Protective Services's Adoption Policy
Interested adopters must first complete an adoption questionnaire either in person, or on our Facebook page. We check vet reference, and if they rent, we do a landlord check. Due to limited staffing, adoption appointments are scheduled Tuesday - Thursday, and walk in adoptions are facilities Friday - Saturday. Please see our Facebook page for potential closings. An approved application is required to adopt!
