She still loves her walks, still enjoys playtime, and still finds joy in the simple things.<br/><br/>Her medical diagnosis is still uncertain, narrowed down to Evans Syndrome (an autoimmune disorder) and/or IMHA (Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia). She loses small tufts of hair and may develop lesions, and she is currently on prednisone to help keep her comfortable.<br/><br/>We have spent thousands on Nerena’s care, and we know she can live out her days happily with the right compassionate companion—someone who can offer patience, stability, and unconditional love.<br/><br/>For Nerena, we are looking for: <br/><br/> - A fenced yard<br/> - A home where she can be the only dog, so she can receive all the attention she deserves<br/> - No dogs, cats or children, please we want her life to be stress free<br/><br/>Nerena may take a little longer to warm up to men and to new people visiting the home, but with time and gentle reassurance, her sweet nature shines through.<br/><br/>Nerena didn’t ask for this life, but she is still so full of love to give. 1. Choose a dog. 2. Fill out an adoption application at www.allpawsmatter.ca (please no spaces or dashes in your phone number) 3. Once approved, you will be contacted. 4. A Home Visit will be done. 5. A meet and greet will be arranged. 6. Once you have chosen your perfect match and payment is made, you may take your new doggy home. NOTE: We can transport across Ontario if necessary! Also note we will not adopt out our dogs where the current dog is not neutered/spayed or up to date on shots unless there is medical documentation for not doing so.
