Neo-Avondale, AZ's Story

Meet Neo

Neo is a 2.5-year-old, 65-pound neutered boy with a sweet personality, a playful spirit, and plenty of love to give. He’s white with black spots and is looking for a family or individual who can give him the time, attention, and activity he deserves.

Neo is house trained, crate trained, and obedience trained. He knows tricks and responds to some nonverbal hand commands, showing just how smart and eager to learn he is. He loves to run and enjoys being active, although he’s not naturally much of a fetch dog—something his new person could have fun teaching him!

Neo enjoys attention. He used to be a big lap dog and has a lot of affection to give. He gets along well with other dogs and has never attacked another dog—his interactions with dogs have been normal, playful dog-to-dog behavior. He has never bitten a person and is friendly with children.

Neo is not known to be destructive: he doesn't dig or chew, doesn't jump fences, and sleeps comfortably in the house. He does not get on the furniture and is accustomed to sleeping indoors. Neo’s life changed when his owner's circumstances did. A new baby, a new business, and a busier lifestyle meant fewer walks and less one-on-one time for Neo. Neo deserves a fresh start with someone who can make him part of their daily life again. He would thrive with someone who enjoys walks, outdoor time, training, and simply having a dog by their side. Whether that's a family or a single person, Neo is ready to be someone's devoted companion.

Neo received required vaccinations through the Humane Society last year. He is a good boy who has been through a lot of changes and is simply looking for someone who can keep him. Could you be his forever home?
