Oh let us count the ways that Nemo is such an amazing dog. <br/><br/>Incredibly smart, playful, knows basic commands, and will do anything for a good game of fetch. When you throw a toy for him, he always brings it right back to your feet to throw again. He knows how to play tug-o-war with his favorite rope toys if you're game for that, but he's also a perfect couch potato who loves to hang out and snooze near you. <br/><br/>Nemo came from a tragic situation where his owner, for no good reason, intended to shoot him simply because she didn't want him any longer and could no longer care for him. Thankfully. she had second thoughts and at least brought him to a local veterinary office to be euthanized, because she said he was such a pretty dog and couldn't bring herself to shoot him. Then the veterinary office called our rescue group, Happy Furever, and asked us to take him. They explained that he is perfectly healthy, vibrant, and so full of life. We agreed to take him in, and we agree, he is the perfect dog. <br/><br/>He is incredibly smart and somehow finds ways to convince you to play. But after a bit of exercise, he's again ready to just hang out by your side. He's an awesome cuddler as well. This dog will bond deeply and be your best friend. We're so glad that he's safe with us, and now we're in search for his Furever family. Could that be you? You will not be disappointed with this dog - he is such a good boy. If you're local to North Texas, come meet him at the Happy Furever foster farm. <br/><br/>NOTE: This dog is located in Pilot Point, Texas, but he can be easily adopted from anywhere in the US. You can meet him via video call to see if he's the right fit for you. We can transport him to you via a partner company that specializes in rescue pet transport. Sadly, Texas is forced to euthanize about 100,000 animals annually in shelters due to too many animals and not enough demand for pets. Hence we network many of our adoptable dogs across the country where there is greater adoption demand. Transport costs about $250 depending on your location and a health certificate required for transport across state lines costs about $100. Hence with adoption fee, it will be about $550 to get this dog to you, but trust us, this dog is worth it.
