Hi there! I'm Nemo, a darling little guy with a big personality and loads of love to give. I'm energetic, curious, and very affectionate. I love people and can't wait to make friends! I might bark a little when we first meet, but once I'm given the okay, I'm eager to come say hello and soak up all the attention.<br/><br/>I'm still learning my puppy manners, so I can be a little mouthy and sometimes forget to keep all four paws on the ground. With patience, consistency, and positive training, I'm working on those things every day. I'll need a puppy-savvy person who can help me learn to walk nicely on a leash, explore the world, and grow into the best boy I can be. There's so much out there for me to discover!<br/><br/>I get along great with other dogs and love to play! I can play pretty hard, especially with my foster friend's puppy, so I'd enjoy a doggy companion who can keep up with my playful puppy energy. I'm curious about cats, too, and can get a little overexcited, but I'm not showing aggression. With a dog-savvy cat and careful, slow introductions, we may be able to become friends. If my future family has a cat, they should be experienced with proper cat introductions and be willing to help me learn to be respectful.<br/><br/>I'm also working on my food manners. Sometimes I worry about my food bowl and will growl, cover it, and eat faster if I think someone might take it away. I've never snapped or nipped, and I take treats very nicely. My foster family is helping me learn that food is a good thing to share space around by tossing food for me and placing some in my bowl. I'll need a family willing to continue working with me patiently and safely. Because I'm still learning about personal space and can be mouthy, a home without young children would likely be the best fit for me right now.<br/><br/>My new friends at BAGSR really saved me from a not so good situation. I was awfully thin; but the good news is that I've gained some weight, and seem quite healthy. I ride nicely in the car, too! I enjoy looking out the windows and taking in all the sights. I'll need lots of positive exposure to new people, places, sounds, and experiences to help me grow into a confident, well-mannered companion.<br/><br/>As for my looks, I'm mostly black, with beautiful red undertones on my legs that are becoming more noticeable as I grow. I even have a few little white-and-gray spotted toes! Nobody knows exactly what mix I am, but there's definitely something extra special in this darling little package.<br/><br/>I'm a sweet, affectionate boy with so much potential. I'll need someone who understands puppies, can guide me with kindness and consistency, and is ready to help me learn all the things a growing pup needs to know.
