Isn’t she beautiful?? Meet Nellie, a wonderful girl with a high activity level expected of a bird dog! Nellie has been a wonderful foster with who is gentle in every way. This girl has lots of potential.<br/><br/>Nellie is respectful in a fenced in area just a little over 4 tall…..Nellie requires a physical fence as her nose…when it hits the ground… will take off in a heartbeat and we don’t want that. Training will be the key for success should she master the art of hunting and most importantly, recall.<br/><br/>Nellie is currently living with 2 Aussies and is doing fantastic. Nellie loves a soft voice and a soft touch…she will melt into your lap as well as your heart with that kind of attention. Her eyes tell you a story.<br/><br/>Nellie does have a slight underbite which does not seem to affect her in any way. Nellie eats in her crate and sleeps in it at night without complaining. We are working on housebreaking and learning commands like, NO and leave it. Nellie is UTD on vaccines and is H/W negative and on preventative.<br/><br/>HISTORY:<br/><br/>Nellie was with another gal who had taken her in because the neighbors were neglecting her. Unfortunately, her own dogs didn’t like Nellie and would attack her, so she had to be kept separated at all times which becomes very stressful for all. The gal, who wanted the best for Nellie, reached out to our rescue to take her in. Even after all that, Nellie’s heart is still open to love and be loved.
