Nechi

This is the 3rd time we've listed Nechi for adoption. Two long-distance adopters we approved didn't work out and he had a failed meet & greet with another dog who clearly wanted to be an only pet - Nechi was sad. He shares well and would have loved having a fur-sister. <br/><br/>Nechi is 3 1/2 years old and PERFECT - healthy, HW Neg, gets along with everyone (although I wouldn't trust him with poultry or livestock). He is very well-behaved. He's housebroken, crate trained - even though he doesn't need a crate, leash walks well, good on car rides, and greets everyone happily. He's quite snuggly - when he stops playing. <br/><br/>There are special requirements to adopt this floof.<br/> <br/>A positive Vet reference is a must - we need a vet to tell us you have a history of doing all the right things, annual vaccinations, HW prevention, and normal good pet parent behaviors.<br/><br/>Adopters must be homeowners with a securely fenced yard. Nechi loves to be chased and has selective recall. Contrary to what one applicant told us, a natural tree line is not sufficient.<br/><br/>Nechi's new home MUST have playmates - he NEEDS another pup to wrestle with and kids to love on him. He won't do well as a latch-key kid with nobody home all day and he'd be bored out of his mind in a retired atmosphere. He's the happiest, bounciest little man we've met in a long time.<br/><br/>Nechi came from a home with human kids and fur-friends. They lost their home when the landlord sold the place after they'd lived there for 7 years, so no renters, please. We want this home to be his forever home. One applicant told us they'd rented for 3 years so they may as well own - that's not how it works.<br/><br/>Nechi is used to sleeping in the bed with his humans and sitting in mom's lap to watch TV. If he's not allowed on your furniture, please don't apply.
