Naya, the Bravest Sweetest Pup's Story

I was found laying by the side of a busy road in pain and barely breathing. I was transported immediately to the clinic in Amman, Jordan where X-rays revealed a bullet lodged inside my skull and a broken femur.
I was shot in the head then run over and left there to die.

I had to get surgery for my broken femur soon after. The doctors warned that my state was very fragile and there was a risk from the anesthesia and prepared my rescuers that I might not make it.

I pulled through fighting with every ounce of life I had left. I had finally found people who cared for me, and I was determined to make it through.

A few days later, while doctors were checking me, they noticed that I could not see and could barely hear.
The bullet in my skull had damaged my optical and hearing nerves. My rescuers were devastated and knew this meant that I could not live a normal life like we had wanted for her.

I was at the clinic for a very long time, getting all the care, good food and love that I could get. With love and time, I slowly started to show my lovely and playful personality. Despite my sight and hearing being less than normal, here I am today, affectionate, silly, lively dog that is so eager to find a loving home.

I am fully vaccinated, spayed and very kind. I love dogs and people and cuddles. I will need some time to get used to my surroundings, since I can’t see or hear, but I am so eager to learn and to love and be loved that I know I will fit in.

Please give me a chance to find my forever home.
