In just five weeks, she has made remarkable progress — moving from finding comfort in her kennel to enjoying daily walks, exploring the world through sniffing, and even cuddling on the bed.<br/><br/>She loves walks, pets, brushing, hugs, and kisses (and happily gives them back). Natasha is doing wonderfully with potty training, sleeps soundly, and continues to adapt to new experiences with growing confidence. She’s begun to vocalize with soft whines and little woofs and has shared playful moments with her canine foster sibling.<br/><br/>As she settles in, Natasha has shown some early resource guarding with high value items — something common for dogs with her background. With patient guidance, positive reinforcement training, and supportive humans, she’s well on her way to working through it.<br/><br/>Natasha will thrive in a calm, patient home committed to helping her build confidence at her own pace. She would likely do well with a respectful, well matched dog and adopters open to continued training and support.<br/><br/>Thanks to FLR FaerieLand Rescue, Inc., Natasha finally has her second chance — and she’s working hard to be ready for her furr-ever family. She will require a fenced yard to keep her safe.<br/><br/>As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.<br/><br/>We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our rescue dogs to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system. We don not adopt our dogs to folks who plan to have the dogs living outside 24/7 or the majority of time or living in a kennel type environment.
