Nash's Story
We're told the pictures are deceiving! Nash is about sixty lbs!

Nash has returned to the shelter as no fault of his own as his owner had been experiencing health issues. What his previous owner has said is he has been a wonderful companion to them can be left home alone without incident and bonded very closely with her husband but did get protective over his environment.

Nash was one of our best kept secrets at the shelter- he has been an office dog for several weeks and we are enjoying him so much, we haven't been in a rush to post him online! He hangs out and sleeps on his dog bed most of the day but is ready to run around and play when you are. Nash came in as a stray but had sutures from a recent surgery, so we know he was in a home at some point. He loves people and is always very excited to meet them, including children. He doesn't have any reactions to the other dogs at the shelter but a meet and greet with any potential canine siblings would be required before bringing Nash home. We do not know how he would be with cats. Nash has proven to be housebroken and non-destructive when left alone in the office here at the shelter. If you're looking for a very good boy to add to your home, call the shelter at 906 632 2519 to set up an appointment. Please call for the quickest response as inquiries submitted by FB, Petfinder and email are not closely monitored.
