Nari's Story

Meet Nari! Nari is a female, four year old purebred Great Pyrenees who is extremely smart and independent. Nari came to us when she was three months from a previous owner who lived in an apartment and an apartment is definitely not the ideal living situation for a Great Pyrenees. Most GP’s are livestock guardian dogs and Nari could certainly be trained for this role. She presently lives with lots of livestock and gets along great with all types of stock. Because she started out inside, she is more of an inside dog, but she definitely spends a lot of time outside on guard. Nari is more of submissive type of dog and she gets along great with most all other dogs. When she came to us she had some resource guarding tendencies and we’ve worked with her on this for quite a while which is why she’s been with us for so long. Nari, would do best in a home without small children because of her size and the resource guarding tendency that shows up from time to time. Kiddos who are 13 and older would be best as well as adults who are firm on their feet. Nari is house trained and crate trained and she knows several commands and she is very polite. If you’ve never owned a Great Pyrenees, we strongly suggest you research this breed prior to owning one, as they are unlike any other breed of dog.

Nari is has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. And current on preventatives.

If you’re interested in meeting Nari, kindly send us a message and we can get something scheduled!
