While this gentleman can be a bit shy, he is top notch sweet. Napoleon found himself at a local shelter after his loving owner had to move to a senior care facility. We were honored to be asked to welcome him, and he is a lovely house guest. He enjoys the outdoors, but will occasionally lift a leg inside. In his defense, he is fostered with several other male dogs- and at times it seems to be a literal contest Napoleon resides in a foster home with several other small dogs. He gets along with everyone well, but does grumble when the hyper dog in the house goes bolting by, and has shown a smidge of jealousy with a new foster but has been easily redirected. Meals and high value treats such as bones should be enjoyed in his own space, but sharing a dog bed suits him just fine. While on the subject of eating, Napoleon is on a salmon based food and an allergy medication called Zenrelia. (2 months worth is priced at 75.00 on Chewy) If youre taking a seat, you just may find him snuggled in between you and the arm of the couch. This quiet guy could hang in an apartment without disturbing the neighbors- and would love to go for a car ride here and there. This gentle shrunken-shepherd looking dude is looking for company thats as exquisite as his!<br/><br/>Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not require you to adopt the dog of interest, if it is not a match.
