If Napoleon is here to rule anything, he is the ruler of adorable under bites and the Cute Lab club. At about 41 lbs now, Napoleon is mostly full grown though may fill out a little more. He has his white socks on all of the time, how adorable is that, and an attitude that says he is looking for fun and playtime all the time. Napoleon has made lots of friends, human and dog alike, at Saving Grace but prefers those that like to romp and play the best. He would <br/>do great in lots of homes that will provide regular exercise but otherwise he is keen on another dog, or not, lots of people, or few, and is just generally a happy guy. He walks great on a leash, keeps his crate clean and just wants to live his best life, with socks on, with you! <br/>**Hiker feedback: " Napoleon: Playful like a labrador. He did great with my kids (ages 7 & 8) and got along with our dog. He loves to play and run around, but also settled down when it was time to relax. He was not bothered by the thunderstorms and didn't bark when the doorbell rang. He slept in his crate all night with no issues and appears to be house trained-no accidents in the house. He walks great on the leash and loved the long walks we took. He played with dog toys and enjoyed finding sticks to carry on our walk. He is definitely still a puppy and my kids quickly learned to clean up their toys because he looked for things to chew. True to his name, he must be in the military because he loves to army crawl. He's easygoing and a curious explorer who enjoys sniffing and watching small critters (but never went after them). He got along very well with our 55 lbs dog and they played to their hearts' content. He has plenty of stamina and did well on multiple 2-mile walks but also is happy to settle down for some puppy naps every now and then. He seems to only pull on the leash when he sees people and wants to say hi.<br/>We ate dinner at an indoor restaurant and walked around downtown Durham. He was well behaved and a big social butterfly - he loves people and they love him! Napoleon is a true lover boy; he lay on top of me on the couch as we watched Love Island together. He's very affectionate and has good recall because he seems eager to please his people. He knows sit, come, and listened when we gently corrected him or redirected his behavior. He's good about going potty outside and had only one accident inside the house. At bedtime Napoleon quickly and quietly settled into his crate and slept through the night. He also quickly relaxes in the car and tends to go to sleep. We gave him a little spa treatment and he patiently received a bath and a brushing. Overall he's very responsive to people, a quick learner, and super friendly!"
