Meet Napoleon

Napoleon is a beautiful big older golden retriever who has survived the two big hurricanes in Puerto Rico and several months thereafter before they brought him to the United States.

He’s very loving and sweet in his foster home with other dogs but he is easily triggered in public and often barks at other dogs and people through the fence. The former owner lived on a golf course and many people complained.

He can be walked and controlled easily with a gentle leader head collar. He does listen but he does get triggered by other dogs, that he doesn’t know, no doubt from his traumas in Puerto Rico. His teeth are mostly ripped out so obviously he suffered quite a bit of violence,

We are looking for a home out in the country with a big yard not close to neighbors where he would be able to live out the rest of his life running the fields and barking at the moon and the birds above without complaint from anyone! for an application
