Napoleon's Story

Meet Napoleon, a 9-year-old Chihuahua/Pug mix with a big personality packed into a tiny body. House trained, great on leash, and always ready for a car ride, Napoleon is the perfect little sidekick for someone who appreciates quirky dogs and their opinions.

Napoleon enjoys the company of other dogs, especially those who understand and respect his boundaries. He'll even join in for a quick play session, but he has a shorter-than-average tolerance threshold and appreciates friends who listen when he politely asks for some space. Thankfully, he's excellent at communicating and gives appropriate corrections.

People are his favorite, though he tends to prefer one person at a time and loves showering his chosen humans with kisses. He can come across as grumpy, but honestly, it's mostly an act designed to convince you to leave him alone when he's busy relaxing. He's the kind of dog who might growl in protest when told "no," only to cry dramatically when it's time for a nail trim.

Napoleon would thrive with an experienced adopter who understands that tiny dogs sometimes come with big opinions. Someone who can appreciate his sass, respect his boundaries, and laugh at his antics will quickly discover that underneath the tough-guy routine is a sweet little man with a heart full of love.

When he's not supervising the household, Napoleon enjoys laying in the sun and baking like a small potato. Just remember to flip him occasionally so he cooks evenly.

If you're looking for a loyal companion with plenty of character and enough personality for a dog three times his size, Napoleon might just be your perfect match.
