NAOMI's Story

Meet Naomi, a super sweet, gentle girl who just wants to be by your side. She loves to follow you around the house—watching you do laundry, waiting in the kitchen while you cook, or snuggling next to you on the couch for a movie. She greets everyone with a wagging tail and polite curiosity, never barking, jumping, or demanding attention—she just wants pets and companionship. Naomi has a low-to-medium energy level. She enjoys walks, sniffing around the yard, rolling in the grass, and the occasional zoomie, but she’s just as happy to relax beside you. She’s very well-behaved on leash, though she sometimes wants to sniff everything—she quickly responds when redirected. She’s incredibly easygoing with handling and affection. Baths, nail trims, and even grooming for minor skin irritations are no problem. She loves attention everywhere, especially gentle scratches on her back end. Naomi is friendly with people of all ages and warms up quickly, welcoming strangers politely and confidently. She’s also calm and gentle around cats, making her a great companion for feline friends in a separate space. She’s crate-trained, listens well, and adapts easily to routines—truly a “good girl” through and through. Naomi has a loving, calm demeanor that wins over everyone she meets, and she deserves a forever home where she can be the loyal, affectionate companion she’s meant to be. **Please apply on our website at indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet.
